2.3 Control units
2.3.1 Control panel
The following figure shows the front view of the control panel of control units CRD and CRQ.

No. Name Function
[START] key
Start a program and operate the robot
The program is processed continuously
[STOP] key
Cancel the running program and stop the robot
This function is the same as the function of the [STOP] key on the
Teaching Box.
[RESET] key
Acknowledges an error code
Sets the hold state of the program and resets the program
[EMG.STOP] pushbutton switch
The pushbutton switch is used for the EMERGENCY-STOP of the
robot system.
After pressing the pushbutton switch, the servo power supply is
switched off immediately and the moving robot arm stops
instantaneously. The pushbutton is unlocked by turning it to the
right and then jumps back out.
[CHNG DISP] key
Changes the display on the control unit in the following order:
Program number Line number Override
[END] key Stops the running program after END instruction
[SVO ON] key Switches on the servo power supply
[SVO OFF] key Switches off the servo power supply
[STATUS NUMBER] display Displays alarm, program number and override value (%) etc.
