5.9 Condenser (Required for Wet Process)
The CD-20 and “AVP” condensers are designed to incorporate the SENTRY 1510 for wet
processing. Described below are the basic steps for installing the CD-20 condenser and the “AVP”
condenser. As with all wet processing drains and p-traps will be required, the “AVP” incorporates a
self contained drain. Refer to section 4.2 of this manual for guidance when installing the drains and
p-traps for the CD-20 condenser.
Notice
Water is the only cooling medium approved for use with the CD-20
Condenser.
5.9.1 Mount the Condenser to the Process Tool
For optimum efficiency, the Condenser must be mounted vertically. Two right angle brackets are
provided to allow secure mounting on the furnace frame or on the wall.
1. The first bracket is at the top of the unit. This bracket supports the majority of the weight of the
assembly and should be secured first.
2. The second bracket, at the bottom of the unit, is used to secure the assembly in place.
