Driving & Safety
All occupants must be furnished with and use seat belts while the
motorhome is moving. The driver’s seat, and all other seats designed to
carry passengers while the motorhome is in motion, are equipped with
safety seat belts. Do not occupy beds or any seats that are not equipped
with a safety belt while the motorhome is in motion. Safety belts are
supplied at affixed seating positions. The driver’s seat must be locked in
the forward facing position while motorhome is in motion. Do not use a
seat belt on more than one person.
To fasten the seat belt, pull the belt out of the retractors and insert the
tab into the buckle; you will hear a click when the tab locks into the
buckle. Seat belt lengths automatically adjust to size and sitting position. Do
not route belts over armrest.
WARNING: Safety belts are supplied at affixed seating positions.
Do not occupy seats not equipped with safety belts while the
motorhome is in motion. Do not use a single seat belt on more
than one person. Pilot and Co-pilot seats must be locked in a
forward facing position with seat belts fastened while the
motorhome is in motion. Avoid seat rotation while in transit.
Child Safety Seat:
Children that fit into example 1 and example 2, as shown on the
following pages, require the use of a child safety seat. In the motorhome, the
child safety seat can be positioned in two places. On the front passenger
(co-pilot) seat and on the forward facing permanently mounted booth dinette
seat.
WARNING: Children must not be transported unrestrained.
Infants must be placed in approved safety seats. Small children must
be restrained in child safety seats. Failure to comply with these
rules can lead to injury or death.
NOTE: Individual states and Canadian provinces may prohibit use
of a safety or booster seat in the front seat.
