3.5 Connection PE conductor

PE mains connection
to DINEN61800-5-1

Ground each of the drives!
Connect terminal
in star
configuration and amply
dimensioned with the PE bar (main ground)
in the control cabinet.
Rules for the PE terminal
(as leakage current > 3.5mA):
Use protective conductors with the
same cross-section as the mains
power cables, though at least
10mm².
Also comply with local and
national regulations and
conditions.

Also connect the PE-conductor terminals of all
other components, such as mains choke, filter,
etc. in a star configuration and amply
dimensioned with the PE bar (main ground)
in the control cabinet.
