7. Vacuum Tank Inspection and Cleaning
CAUTION
Use the procedure to inspect and clean the vacuum tank at least once a
month.
>> Otherwise, the equipment could malfunction, water leakage, its performance
could deteriorate, or lines could become plu
gg
ed.
After cleaning make sure the vacuum tank and its flexible drain tube are
properly and securely installed and connected.
>>Otherwise, the performance of the vacuum syringe or saliva ejector could
deteriorate, these instruments could malfunction or their lines could get plugged
up.
Use the procedure below to inspect the vacuum tank at least once
a month and clean it if necessary.
This is not necessary if the unit is not equipped with a vacuum tank
or an air vacuum.
(1) Switch OFF the main switch and open the door.
(2) Disconnect the drain tube (2) which connected with tank
holder.
Press the lock lever and take off the tube.
Prepare some towels in case the water running
out from the tube.
(3) Disconnect the drain tank and tank holder.
Press the lock lever on right side, hold the handle and take off
the knob.
Watch out for water running out when
disconnects the tank.
