11. Replacing the Bacteria Cartridges
WARNING
Keep fingers clear of the electric panel and electrical components inside
the plumbing pit and do not allow these parts to get wet.
Also, never move the chair while the plumbing pit is open.
>> Any of the above actions could result in an electric shock, short-circuiting, pinching
or other in
j
urious accidents.
Ensure the pit housing is securely in place. After replacing the bacteria
cartridges, unhook the housing and make sure the housing is securely and
properly attached.
>> If the pit housing is not correctly attached, it could fall off resulting in an injurious
accident. It could also result in equipment dama
g
e or abnormal noise.
CAUTION
For the bacteria cartridges, do not conduct the following things.
1. Mixing up the air and water cartridge
2. Improper connection of IN and OUT
3. Disassembling a cartridge
4. Reconnection of a used cartridge
5. Using a cartridge to which something is attached or in which something is
mixed other than normal tap water and air
6. Using cartridges other than those specified by J. MORITA TOKYO MFG.
CORP.
>> Otherwise, it will not produce a proper effect and it could cause water leakage,
air leaka

e, or breakdown.
Before taking off the bacteria cartridges, be sure to release the internal
pressure in the lines as described below.

Before replacing the bacteria cartridges, be sure to close the main water
valve and the main air valve.
>> Otherwise, it could result in water and air leaka
g
e.
Be sure to replace the bacteria cartridges once a year.
When you see performance degradation within less than a year due to
various conditions such as water quality variation, replace the bacteria
cartridges immediately.
>> Otherwise, performance could be degraded, lines could become blocked, and
there is a risk of contamination. This could result in water leakage, air leakage or
breakdown.
Connect the bacteria cartridges securely.
>> If connection is improper or not secure, it could cause water leakage, air
leaka
g
e, breaka
g
e or breakdown.
