Problem What to do...
Blinking red LED and display (if available) shows
WRONG BATT TYPE CANNOT LT STORE or CAN-
NOT DISCHARGE CANNOT LT STORE.
● Remove the battery from the pocket. Verify that
the battery is not attached to a radio.
● Verify that the battery is an IMPRES 2 battery.
Other batteries may not charge.
● Clean the IMPRES 2 battery electrical contacts
using a dry cloth.
● Remove power from the charger, then clean
the pocket electrical contacts using a dry cloth.
● Try replacing the battery. If the fault no longer
exists, take the faulted battery out of service. If
the fault persists with the replacement battery,
take the charger out of service.
Blinking red LED and display (if available) shows
STORE INCOMPLETE Low Capacity:yy%.
The Potential Capacity of the IMPRES 2 battery
may be less than the Long-Term Storage selection.
The battery may be nearing the End of Life.
Blinking red LED and display (if available) shows
RADIO POCKET CANNOT LT STORE or CHARG-
ING POCKET CANNOT LT STORE.
The charger pocket is not the standard pocket for
charging a battery through electrical contacts be-
tween the charger and the battery
.
● A Radio Pocket is a special pocket in which the
battery is attached to a radio, there are no ex-
ternal contacts on the battery, and the battery
is charged through electrical contacts on the
radio.
● A Charging Pocket is a pocket that uses charg-
er energy for a special purpose, such as USB
charging ports.
Move the battery to a standard pocket or replace
the Radio Pocket or Charging Pocket with a stand-
ard pocket.
