2 Press the battery cover down along the sides from the bottom to the top of the radio, to ensure
that all retention features are engaged to the main housing.

Installing the Antenna
Procedure:
1 Insert the screw-in base of the antenna into the antenna terminal at the top of the radio.
2 Turn clockwise until tight.
