Trouble-shooting
Poor vacuum or poor sealing could result from incorrectly set settings (un-
intended).
Always note:
If a program key is pressed longer than approx. 3 seconds, the saved set-
tings are over-written.
Problem Cause Solution
Machine is not running. – Machine is switched off. – Switch on
– Power supply was interrupted. – Switch on
– Plug is not plugged in. – Plug in the plug.
Lid does not keep
closed despite running
pump.
– Lid is not completed closed or is
pressed shut too quickly.
– Press the lid shut more firmly
and for a longer period of time.
– Lid seal is dirty. – Clean lid seal.
– Lid seal is damaged. – Replace lid seal.
– Lid is misadjusted. – Adjust lid.
Sealing leaks or oth-
erwise not ok – pouch is
slack
– Too little pressure:
Set values are improper.
Incorrect program is chosen.
– Correct the settings.
– Sealing time is set incorrectly. – Correct the sealing time.
– Pouch is unsuitable. – Use pouch capable of being
sealed.
– The pouch neck is squeezed by
the lid.
– Insert the pouch so that the
pouch neck is within the cham-
ber.
– Sealing force is insufficient. – Check settings. Sufficient seal-
ing force can only be obtained
when the pressure is under 400
mbar.
– The Teflon strip or sealing wire
on the sealing bar is damaged.
– Replacement --> See the "As-
sembly instructions for the
sealing equipment repair kit".
– Pouch leaks. – Use a new pouch.
– Seal seam is dirty. – Keep clean.
