The pre-set pressure is
not reached.
– There is too little or dirty oil in the
vacuum pump. Possibly caused
by evacuating moist, hot prod-
ucts; steam prevents reaching
the pressure setting.
– Pour in oil or renew --> Appen-
dix.
– Moist product, e.g., fresh meat. – Only a pressure up to approx. 12
mbar can be achieved.
– Lid seal is dirty. – Clean it
– Lid seal is damaged. – Replace it
– Vacuum system leaks. – Check it
– The pouch slips. Is squeezed by
the lid.
– Insert the pouch so that the
pouch neck is over the sealing
bar within the chamber.
Wrinkles in pouch. – Pouch is too large. – Use smaller pouch.
– Support height of the pouch is
not correct.
– Insert or remove filler plates.
Lid does not open. – System voltage is or was inter-
rupted. This is made evident in
that the digital display and all
LEDs are dark. The pouch could
have been incorrectly sealed!
Check it! If the system voltage
comes back, the machine does
not automatically switch back
on.
– Switch on the machine. If the
display is illuminated, this
means: the system voltage is
available. The chamber is venti-
lated. The lid opens.
Oil mist. Smell – The air de-oiling component is
out of use. This can be caused
by the sloping position of the
machine. Note extra mainte-
nance period, see instruction in-
structions for vacuum pump.
– Replace air de-oiling component
--> see operating instructions for
vacuum pump in appendix..
– Oil return flow valve of the vacu-
um pump is clogged.
– Clean oil-return valve --> Oper-
ating instructions for vacuum
pump in appendix.
