Error code Cause Solution
"Er 4" error code is dis-
played.
–measuring line to the pressure
sensor is obstructed or the filter
is clogged.
– Clean measuring line, repla-
ce filter.
– Pressure sensor is defective. – Replace pressure sensor.
–malfunction in the pressure-sen-
sing system.
– If malfunction reoccurs regu-
larly, replace the control unit.
Note: The machine can carry
on operating if the vacuum
setting is set to „999“ and
evacuation is carried out
slowly.
"Er 5" error code is dis-
played.
The set gas value was not reached
within one minute. Packing process
interrupted.
– No gas connected, gas bottle
empty, supply line blocked.
– Restore the gas supply.
"Er 6" error code is dis-
played.
No gas connected, gas bottle emp-
ty, supply line blocked:
– The pressure setting is below
the vacuum the pump can
achieve.
– Increase the pressure set-
ting.
– Leak in the system (seal, hose). – Replace defective parts.
– Product containing water (e.g.
fresh meat).
– Increase the pressure set-
ting.
