Opening-temperature of Thermostat Valve
1. Hang the thermostat in the water by a string with its end put
between the valve and the seat.
2. Increase the temperature of the water gradually, read the
temperature when the valve opens and disconnects the string.
3. Continue to increase the temperature and read the temperature
when the valve opens approximately 6 mm (0.2 in.).
4. If the measurement is out of the factory specifications, replace
the thermostat.
