User Settings - Front Panel UI
You can establish various user settings for the VS1 using the local front panel display. The following
options are available:
Setting Pilot Sample Level
LCD Settings - see page 2-134
Signal Generator - see page 2-136
Setting Station ID parameters - see page 2-138
Selecting FM Mask - see page 2-140
Setting Audio Low Thresholds - see page 2-140
Turn-On Delay Setting - see page 2-142
Ramp-Up Speed Setting - see page 2-142
Setting Pilot Sample Level
From the front panel UI, you can set the level of the pilot sample that is applied to the PILOT SAMPLE
OUT (A1J4A)
BNC connector on the rear of the controller (A4). To view the Pilot Sample screen,
select User Settings -> Pilot Sample from the Main Menu (see Figure 2.117 on page 2-134).
Note:
The following Front Panel User Settings are detailed in their corresponding remote AUI or stand
alone sections: Edit Presets, Remote I/O, Set Clock, Network Settings, Ext. 10MHz and
Audio Processor.
Note:
Setting the pilot sample is only available using the front panel display.
