Using the File Manager -88-
Operations
The following options are available for File manager
H: Available for Handset memory
M: Available for Memory card
Task Description Available
for
Executing a file You can open a file by moving the highlight to the file and pressing
the Enter key.
For video/audio/image files, Multimedia centre is activated.

New folder menu option Creates a new folder in either of the folders: Video files/Image files/
Music files/Sound files/Other files. The default folder name starts
"New".
Note: Folder names must be unique.

Copy menu option Copies the highlighted file/multiple files/folders to another folder.
Note: Downloaded files can only be copied to locations within the
Downloads folder.
Note: Up to 100 files can be selected at one time.
Note: Refer to To Select Multiple Items on page 78 for details on
selecting multiple items.

Delete menu option Deletes the highlighted file/multiple files/folders.
Note: Up to 100 files can be selected at one time.
Note: When an open file is included in the selected files to delete,
the delete operation does not complete.
Note: Refer to To Select Multiple Items on page 78 for details on
selecting multiple items.

Move menu option Moves the highlighted file/multiple files/ to another folder.
Note: Downloaded files can only be moved within the Downloads
folder.
Note: Maximum of 100 files can be selected at one time.

Sort files menu option Sorts the files in order of file name, file size and date. (Files are
displayed in file name order by default.)

Send as message menu option Sends the highlighted file attached to a message.
Note: Downloaded files cannot be sent out as email attachments.
