Electra Elite IPK II Document Revision 1
Debug Terminal 67
11 Debug Terminal
PCPro provides a debug terminal that can be used to capture trace logs from the CPU
package of the KTS. The debug terminal communicates with the KTS via the LAN. A TCP
connection on port 5963 is established between the debug terminal and the KTS.
To launch the debug terminal, click on the DbgTerm icon on the toolbar .
If PCPro is connected via LAN to a KTS, then the debug terminal will automatically try
and connect to the same IP address (domain name). Once the debug terminal is running,
incoming debug message from the KTS will appear on the screen. You can capture the
incoming data to a file by specifying a log file name and enabling the log capture.
Log capture can be enabled or disabled at the user’s discretion. A message will be
printed in the log file indicating the date and time the capture was enabled or disabled.
