50 Multi-Assign
The extension numbers must validate against the numbering plan setup in PRG
11-01. In addition, duplicate extension number cannot exits. In this case, free the
extension numbers by assigning blank to the ports using those extension
numbers.
4.0 FUNCTION KEYS
The Function Keys multi-assignment dialog enables the user to setup a group of
function keys for multiple telephones. The dialog is best used if the need is to
setup many telephones to have the same set of function keys.
The dialog is found under the menu item
Programming > Multi Assignment > Function
Keys
.
1. Select the telephones from the Telephones list by ticking the check boxes.
2. Select which function keys to set buy ticking the checkbox.
3. Select the Function Type.
4. Specify the starting trunk number.
5. Click the Assign button. PCPro will assign selected function keys with trunk
numbers, beginning with the trunk specified in step 4. The values have not
been set to system data yet. This is only a preview.
6. Click the Apply button to trigger the assignment.
