Connecting an External Monitor
Youcanconnectaseparate,externalmonitortoyourprojectortosimultaneouslyviewonamonitorthecomputer
analogimageyou’reprojecting.
• SignalsthatcanbeoutputfromtheHDMI-OUTterminalareHDMI,DiplayPort,HDBaseT,andSLOT.
• PleaserefertoPage70whendisplayingthePIP/PBPscreen.
NOTE:
• WhenoutputtingHDMIsignals,turnonthepowerofthevideodeviceontheoutputsideandkeepitconnectedbeforeinputting
videosignalsintothisdevice.TheHDMIOUTterminalsoftheprojectorareequippedwithrepeaterfunctions.Whenadeviceis
connectedtotheHDMIOUTterminal,theresolutionoftheoutputsignalislimitedbytheresolutionsupportedbytheconnected
device.
• InthecaseoftheHDMIOUTterminaloftheprojector,thetheoreticalnumberofunitsthatcanbeconnectedinaseriesisseven.
Themaximumnumberofunitsthatcanbeconnectedmaybereducedbytheexternalenvironmentandqualityofthesignaland
cable,etc.ThenumberofunitsthatcanbeconnectedmaydifferdependingontheHDCPversion,restrictiononthenumberof
HDCPrepeatersinthesourcedeviceandthequalityofthecable.Theoverallsystemneedstobecheckedinadvancewhenbuild-
ing a system.
• Whenthe[STANDBYMODE]issetto[NORMAL],videowillnotbeoutputiftheprojectorgoesintothestandbymode.Setthe
modeto[NETWORKSTANDBY],turnonthepowerofthetransmissiondeviceandkeepitinaconnectedstate.
• HDMIrepeaterfunctionwillnotbefunctionedifswitchingterminalsandputtingin/pullingouttheHDMIcableisperformedon
the 2nd projector and after.
