Does not turn on
or shut down
• Checkthatthepowercordispluggedinandthatthepowerbuttonontheprojectorcabinetortheremote
control is on� (→ pages 14, 17)
• Checktoseeiftheprojectorhasoverheated.Ifthereisinsufcientventilationaroundtheprojectororifthe
room where you are presenting is particularly warm, move the projector to a cooler location�
• Thelightmodulemayfailtolight.Waitafullminuteandthenturnonthepoweragain.
• Incaseit’shardtothinkthetroubleisnotcausedontheabovementionedconditions,unplugthepower
cord from the outlet� Then wait 5 minutes before plugging it in again� (→ page 34)
Will turn off
• Ensurethatthe[OFFTIMER],[AUTOPOWEROFF]or[PROGRAMTIMER]isoff.(→ page 122, 137)
No picture
• Checkiftheappropriateinputisselected.(→ page 20) If there is still no picture, press the SOURCE button
or one of the source buttons again�
• Ensureyourcablesareconnectedproperly.

• Boththecompositevideosignalfromeachinputterminalasthecomputer,BNCIN,andBNC(CV),andthe
S-video signal from the BNC (Y/C) Input terminal are not output from HDMI OUT terminal of this projector�
• BesuretoconnecttheprojectorandnotebookPCwhiletheprojectorisinstandbymodeandbeforeturning
on the power to the notebook PC�
In most cases the output signal from the notebook PC is not turned on unless connected to the projector
before being powered up�
