7.4.11 Remove main assembly
• Remove housing plate from top of housing left (1).
The housing plate and a little magnet on the housing of the brewing unit lock the brewing
unit in the open position.
• Release latch of capsule cage with a small screwdriver and lift main assembly
slightly to open the latch.

Take care not to lose
this tiny part.
This latch does not
exist in new coffee
machines.
In case of a broken
latch it is not neces-
sary to replace the
capsule cage.
