CLUTCH CASING -- SYNCHRONISER
REVERSER AND CREEPER UNIT
Replacement (Op. 21 110 87)
To gain access to the synchroniser reverser--creeper
unit, first remove the cab or platform following the in-
structions given in Sect. 27 and remove the clutch
casing as described in Sect. 18, and then proceed as
follows :
1. Fix the casing to the rotating stand 380000301
using the brackets 380000271 and 380000272.

Never place your hands between one part and anoth-
er. Wear suitable safety clothing, i.e. safety goggles,
gloves and shoes.

2. Remove circlip (1) and slide out constant mesh
gear (2).

3. Remove circlip (1) of reverser transmission driv-
ing shaft.
