FIGHTER 1140
Cause: Incorrect setting of “Curve slope” and/or
“Heating curve offset”.
Action: Adjust the setting.
Cause: Large amount of hot water drawn off.
Action: Wait until the water heater reheats.
Cause: Compressor and/or immersion heater does
not heat up.
Action: Check and replace any blown circuit and
main fuses.
Cause: Too low start temperature setting on the
control system.
Action: Adjust the start temperature setting in menu

Cause: Possible earth circuit-breaker tripped.
Action: Reset the earth circuit-breaker, if the earth
circuit-breaker trips repeatedly, call an elec-
trician.
Cause: Compressor and immersion heater do not
heat up.
Action: Check and replace any blown circuit and
main fuses.
Cause: The compressor does not start because of a
too low value set on the heating curve.
Action Check and possibly raise the “Heating curve
offset” (knob on the front panel) or “Curve
slope”.
Cause: The compressor standstills due to the inter-
nal overheating protection tripping.
Action: Automatic resetting after cooling for a few
hours.
Cause: Possible earth circuit-breaker tripped.
Action: Reset the earth circuit-breaker, if the earth
circuit-breaker trips repeatedly, call an electri-
cian.
Low hot water temperature or
no hot water
Low room
temperature
In the event of malfunction or operating disturbances first
check the points below:
NOTE!
As FIGHTER 1140 can be connected
to a large number of external units
even these should be checked.
High room temperature
If the operating disturbance cannot be rectified by means of the above,
an installation engineer should be called.
