Choose the role assigned to the
J button in photo mode and during
playback.
• Shooting mode: Choose from the options below. Regardless of
the option selected, the J button can be used for focus
tracking when auto-area AF is selected for AF-area mode.

Option Description

Select center
focus point
Pressing J selects the center focus point.

Zoom on/off
Press J to zoom the display in on the area
around the current focus point (to choose the
zoom ratio, highlight Zoom on/off and press 2).
None Pressing J during shooting has no effect.
