Warning
Make certain to remove the power cord from the appliance before you
proceed with any of the following steps. Failure to do so could cause
electric shock with burns or death resulting for the user.
Caution
Make certain that you are properly grounded when you handle
components internal to the appliance to protect against electrostatic
discharge damage to the appliance. Use the grounding strap
included in the battery replacement kit.
To install the battery, perform the following tasks:
1. Use Nokia Network Voyager or the command-line interface (CLI) to
perform an orderly shutdown of the IP560.
For information about how to access Network Voyager and the related
reference materials, see “To open Nokia Network Voyager” on page 52.
2. Turn off the power to the IP560 appliance.
3. Loosen the front panel retaining screws.
