Monitoring Network Interface Cards
You can asses the general operating condition of the NICs in your appliance
by looking at the LED status indicators on the NICs. The status indicators for
each NIC are explained in the NIC reference chapter.
For the status indicator information for the built-in Ethernet ports or the two-
port Ethernet NIC, see “Four-Port and Two-Port Copper Gigabit Ethernet NIC
(10/100/1000)” on page 71.
Use Network Voyager to access detailed port information. For information
about accessing Network Voyager, see “Accessing Nokia Network Voyager
Reference Information” on page 53. You can also use the IPSO tcpdump
command to examine the track on a specific port.
