Connecting ac power

Make sure all the breakers on the ac distribution box are in the OFF position.

Remove the breaker box cover by removing the screw.

Verify that the power is not present on the ac power leads.

Route the ac power leads (L1, L2, N, and Gnd) from the external ac power
source though the conduit at the bottom of the ac distribution box.

Connect the L1 and L2 leads on the L1/L2 line lugs.

Connect the N lead to the neutral bus bar.

Connect the Gnd lead to the ground bus bar.

Replace the cover.

Tighten the screw.

Fill the opening around the commercial power cables at the cutout, use B
sealant tape or other filler according to local practices.

Close and secure the power AC compartment door.

Continue the cabinet installation process (see Procedure 3-12, “Installing
batteries”).

CAUTION
Ensure that the screw or jumper intended to connect the
neutral bar to the ground bar in the AC load center is
removed and discarded.
