Repeater/span DS1 termination facilities
DS1 termination facilities are provided by up to two 28-position repeater
shelves.
DS1 lines IN are terminated with powering or bridging repeater modules or
cut-through repeater modules as required.
The repeater shelves are equipped with a fuse and alarm module for power
protection of the modules and fuse alarm generation/transport to the alarm
reporting section of the BIP.
