Procedure 4-1
Connecting the alarms
Use this procedure to connect the alarms to be reported to the ABM #1 shelf.
Requirements
You need the following tools and materials:
• wire-wrap tool
• solid wire 24 AWG

Select the alarms to be reported to the ABM #1 shelf and the input telemetry
points to be used (see Table 4-1 and Figure 4-2).

Refer to procedure 9.6, ”Changing the telemetry input description”,
(NTP 323-3001-032). The Engineering and Ordering Information is part of
AccessNode, Release AN16 or later.

Use the solid wire 24 AWG to wire wrap the alarms from the input telemetry.
Note:
After you connect the alarms, provision them so that the appropriate
label shows up at the alarm monitoring facility.
