Connecting the fan shelves to the ECU
Use this procedure to connect the fan shelves to the environmental control unit
(ECU).

Turn off power to the ECU by turning the appropriate circuit breaker to the off
position (see Figure 2-29).

Make sure there is no power supplied to the ECU.

Remove the screws that connect the ECU to the heat exchanger vent.

Lift the ECU with caution up away from the vent. Disconnect and remove the
ECU (see Figure 5-10).

Connect the fan shelf connectors to the ECU (see Figure 5-11 and table 5.2).

Reinstall the ECU.

When all work is complete, apply power to the ECU.

To verify the operation of the ECU, refer to the start up and initialization
routine, see Procedure 5-7, ”Starting up the ECU”.
