XPIQ-SLI Wiring Style 4
The SLC, which is connected to the XPIQ-SLI, can be wired Style 4, Style 6 or Style 7. Figure 2.19
illustrates the SLC wired to the XPIQ-SLI in a Style 4 configuration. In this configuration, if SLC
communication is lost between the FACP and XPIQ-SLI, the XPIQ will be unable to detect alarm
conditions and activate notification appliances on the local branch.
