Notes:

• Writtenrmwarevariesdependingonthekindsoftheboardsprovidedasserviceparts.For

updating,onlytheminimumrmwareisinstalledonthesystemcontrolPCboard,logicPC

board,andscanningsectioncontrolPCboard.NormwareisinstalledontheFAXboard.

The latest version of the ﬁrmware at the time of delivery is written on the RADF control PC

board and ﬁnisher control PC board.

 Whenanyofaboveboardsisreplacedwithanewoneintheeld,checktheotherrmware

version used and then update with a corresponding suitable version.

• “Can’tfetchVer.”isdisplayedintheInstalledVersioneldwhentheversionoftheinstalled

rmwarecannotbeacquiredproperly.Ifanormalpoweronisnotperformedafterthe

ﬁrmware is updated and the [ON/OFF] button is pressed while simultaneously holding down

the[4]and[9]buttons,“Can’tfetchVer.”maybedisplayedonthecontrolpanelforsome

ﬁrmwares. A normal power on must be performed.
