11 Temperature Measurement Process
The temperature measurement process requires a T1 or T2-modules connected to LEO.
The T1-MODULE is generally used if the diameter of the temperature monitoring port is smaller than
2mm. The T2-MODULE is generally used for diameters larger than 2mm.
11.1 T Modules – Preliminary Operations
Follow the instructions below to connect T1 and T2-modules to LEO.
1. Connect T1-MODULE (or T2-MODULE) to one of the probe connectors on the top of LEO, see Figure 54
a. The reading temperature value is immediately shown.
2. Connect T2-MODULE (or T1-MODULE) to the other probe connector (for a simultaneous T1 and T2
temperature measurement), see Figure 54 b. The reading temperature value is immediately shown.
3. Introduce the T1 probe (or T2 probe) into the temperature monitoring port of the incubator.
4. Wait for LEO starts reading a temperature value. The reading is shown on the homepage (to the right
of T1 or T2).
Note ► The two temperature connection ports can be used both for T1 and T2 modules (see Figure 54 a and
b).
Note ► T1-MODULE and T2-MODULE can be used simultaneously. They can also be used during a gas
measurement in Diffusion Mode or in Aspiration Mode.
