Why is my Olympus Microscope picture too dark?
- EEmily WallaceSep 8, 2025
If your Olympus Microscope picture is too dark, several factors could be the cause. First, check if the exposure correction is set in the – direction and adjust it accordingly. Also, ensure the metering area is correctly positioned; if it's set to a bright area outside the region of interest, move it to the desired area for optimum exposure. If AE lock is active and was set when the exposure time was shorter than currently needed, cancel it. Additionally, reset and readjust the output highlight level if it’s too low. Lastly, increase the microscope illumination intensity or disengage any ND filter to increase brightness.
