After a full maintenance of the tap selector, no significant difference to the values
measured at the factory in 1954 could be observed (Figure 12-18).

To examine the results in more detail, it is recommended to graph the difference
between "UP" and "DOWN" values (Figure 12-19). The difference before
contact maintenance was up to 30 m = 5% and after maintenance it was below
1m = 0.18%. Current maintenance practices require values to be measured only
for the middle and two extreme taps, yet this test system has shown that this is
