• The CPU Units (CPU#00 and CPU#01), which control the respective built-in EtherNet/IP ports,
can be accessed via the backplane port regardless of whether the input is routed via the Ether-
Net/IP port 1 or 2.
Example: Inputting an Ethernet Link object (class ID: F6 hex) to the built-in EtherNet/IP port 1 of
the remote NX701 CPU Unit, and reading out the settings and status of the built-in EtherNet/IP port
2.
