4–5 RELEASE PROHIBIT
When Position Control Unit operation is stopped due to an emergency stop,
CW limit, or CCW limit signal, (i.e., when the NC input of any of these turns
ON), further pulse output is prohibited. In order to resume pulse output, it is
necessary to cancel this prohibition by means of the RELEASE PROHIBIT
command bit (bit 04 of word n) and release of the external emergency stop
switch.

Execution Examples
The present position is lost during an emergency stop, and positioning can-
not be started again directly after RELEASE PROHIBIT. Execute ORIGIN
SEARCH before proceeding.
