M1N “#1” (default): Standard input tray
M2N “#2”: Multi-purpose tray
M3N “#3”: Lower input tray
M4N “#1+#2+#3”, “#1+#2”, “#1+#3” or “#2+#3”

*1 These options are displayed only when the paper size (feature #380 on
page 74, feature #381 on page 75 or feature #382 on page 75) and the media
type (feature #383 on page 75, feature #384 on page 76 or feature #385 on
page 76) match. If either is changed, this setting will be changed accordingly.
Default copy
resolution
#461 To change the default resolution setting for copying.
M1N “TEXT/PHOTO” (default): For documents containing both text and
photographs.
M2N “TEXT”: For documents containing only text.
M3N “PHOTO”: For documents containing photographs, shaded drawings, etc.
Note:
R “HIGH-RES” (page 45) cannot be selected as the default setting.

#467 To hold the previous page layout setting.

R Even if this feature is activated, it will not be effective when making 2-sided
originals into 1-sided copies (page 47).
R When making 2-sided originals into 2-sided copies, the original document
settings will be reset even if this feature is activated. See step 2 to 4 on
page 47 to change the setting again.
Edge hold
#473 To hold the previous edge setting.

Frame margin #474 To set the frame margin. When “ENABLED” is selected, your copies will be
automatically reduced according to the margin setting. However, if you change
the zoom rate (page 46), your copies will not be automatically reduced.
