TRAP Implementation
The PBX will send the two types of TRAP as follows:
Type TRAP Name Description
Standard TRAP coldStart Information is sent after turning on the power of the PBX
or resetting the PBX.
Authentication Failure Information is sent when an unregistered Community
Name and/or Manager IP address is entered.
Enterprise Specific
TRAP

Major Alarm Information is sent when a major alarm is detected.
Minor Alarm Information is sent when a minor alarm is detected.

Enterprise Specific TRAPs contain information exclusive to the PBX model (Enterprise Specific MIB).
Conditions
Through system programming, it is possible to enable or disable this feature.
Up to 2 SNMP managers can be assigned.
This PBX supports SNMP Protocol Version 1.0 and SNMP Version 1.0-TRAP.
This PBX can only receive read-only MIBs. Write MIBs are not supported.
This PBX supports MIB II.
For more information regarding major and minor alarms, refer to the Installation Manual.
For a
list of the MIB object groups supported by this PBX, refer to 21.3 Supported Management Information
Base (MIB) Table in the Appendix.
Through system programming, it is possible to select whether each type of TRAP (e.g., ColdStart) is sent
to the SNMP manager or not.
