3.1.3 Entering Characters
The characters that can be used when performing system programming differ depending on whether
programming is being done using a PT or a PC.
PT Programming
The following characters can be used when storing a name, message, or other text entry data using a PT.
The tables below show you the characters available on each button.

To enter "Ann":

• To move the cursor left or right, press or , respectively.
• To delete a character, move the cursor left or right to highlight it, then press CLEAR.
• Press SELECT to cycle through the characters located on a dialing button in reverse order.
