2.3 Trunk-to-TIE-to-Trunk Access
An outside caller can be connected to an outside party through the TIE line by using the DISA
feature.
[Example]
Explanation:
1. The outside caller dials the "DISA phone number of PBX-1", Idle Line Access number of PBX-
1 "9", and telephone number "01-23-4567".
2. PBX-1 modifies the call (adds "952" and the Idle Line Access number of PBX-2 "9") and sends
the call to PBX-2 which has PBX code "952" through the TIE line (trunk group [TRG] 2)
according to the ARS programming of PBX-1.
3. PBX-2 sends the modified call to the outside party "23-4567" according to its ARS
programming.
