• Your installer can program the output to deactivate either manually or follow a timer. If programmed to be deactivated
manually, the output will remain activated until you deactivate it. If programmed to follow a timer, the output will
deactivate after the timer has elapsed.
14.4 W HEN USIN G YOUR INTOUCH...
• In some cases, your telephone’s tone may not be powerful enough to interrupt the InTouch’s voice prompt. If this is the
case, simply wait for the InTouch’s voice prompt to finish before entering your action.
• If your DigiplexNE system and InTouch share the same telephone number, you may be interrupted at times when using
your InTouch.
15.0 TELEPHONE BUTTON FEATURES

If you have ma de an error, press the [*] button on yo ur telephone to cle ar the er ror an d then re-enter the
information.
Activate/Deactivate InTouch Output = [#] , [0]
To activate or deactivate the InTouch’s output, press the [#] b utton a nd then the [0] bu tton on your tele phon e.
Hang Up = [#] , [9]
Wh en you wish to hang up, press the [#] button a nd then the [9] button to i mme diately hang up. The InTouch wi ll
con firm the hang up with “Good-bye”.
If the hang-up feature is not used and if no action is performed after 2 minutes, the InTouch
will hang up automatically.
16.0 INTOUCH EXAMPLE
Nelson has a DigiplexNE system and an InTouch hooked up at home. His security system has two areas. Both
areas are presently armed and the InTouch’s outpu t, wh ich is hooked u p to h is g arag e door open er, is deactivated.
Nel son is on his way ho me and wishes to disarm bo th areas and open his garage door. Nelson per forms the
following:
Nelson first dia ls the telephone nu mber of the li ne to which the InTouch is connected to.
When the InTouch picks up, it will prompt Nelson with the following:
“Please enter your code .”
Nelson enter s his Use r Access Code.
The InTo uch then prompts Nelson with the followin g:
“Area 1 Arme d”
“Area 2 Arme d”
“Output i s Deactivated”
“To modify, enter Area n umber”
Nelson pre sses the [1] key o n h is telephone to disarm A rea 1.
Your User Acce ss Code must also have acces s to the areas to which the InTouch is assigned
to.
