1.0 INTRODUCTION
Your DigiplexNE Sab otage-P roof High-Security System is an advanced technolo gy secur ity system that will provide
you with reliab le security protection an d power ful features th at are easy to use. The elegant and user-frien dly LCD
keypa d will allow you ea sy access to your security system's functions and info rmation at the to uch of a button. The
32-character LCD screen will display messages and menus to guide you through the system’s operations. Your
Installer can even customize the messag es for your ho me or busine ss.
Since you will communicate your instruction s to your system through the ke ypad, please re ad this manua l car efully
and have your Installer explain basic system operation.
If you have the InTouch Voice Assisted Arm/Disarm Module (APR3-ADM2) connected to your DigiplexNE system,
please refer to page 2 1 for operating in structions.

2.0 BASIC OPERATION
The following sections will in tro duce you to the roles o f the buttons, lig hts, and messages on your LCD ke ypad.

2.1 AUDITORY FEEDBACK (BEEP TONES)
Wh en you en ter information on the keypad, the keypad will g uide yo u with beep ton es to commun ica te the
acceptan ce o r rejection of yo ur entries.
Confirmation Beep: When a n op eration (i.e. arming /disarming) is su ccessfu lly entere d or wh en the system
switch es to a new status/mode, the keypad emits an intermi ttent beep ton e (“
BEEP-B EEP-BEEP-BEEP -BEEP”).
The LCD screen will guide you
with detailed messages.
Use the arrow buttons to scroll
through the current menu when
the arrows appear in the LCD
screen.
ACTION BUTTONS:
Each button’s function is explained in the following sections of the manual.
“STATU S” LIGHT:
When Green:
ON = All zones are closed.
OFF = One or more zones are open.
FLASH = Exit Delay
When Red:
ON = Area(s) armed
OFF = Area(s) disarmed
FLASH = System in Alarm
“AC” LIGHT:
ON = AC power
OFF = Power failure
[CLEAR] = Erases current data entry
or reverts to the preceding step.
[ENTER] = Saves current data and
exits current menu.
