5.7 Regeneration flows
Softener metered delayed:
The controller measures the water usage. The system regenerates at the pre-programmed time
after the calculated system capacity is depleted. The controller calculates the system capacity by
dividing the unit capacity by the feedwater hardness.
Softener time clock delayed:
The controller will regenerate based on a set number of days of operation. The controller will
regenerate the system, at the pre-programmed regeneration time, when the number of days since
the last regeneration equals the set number of days.
Filter Metered Immediate:
Regenerates the system immediately after the selected volume override value is depleted. A filter
immediate controller will also start a regeneration cycle at the selected regeneration time if a
number of days equal to the day override pass before water usage depletes the calculated system
capacity.
