10.2.2 Motor run-ON error/cycle sense error

An undesired optical sensor state change occurred.
1. Unplug the unit and plug back in. Allow the controller to attempt to find
position again.
2. If the unit doesn’t find position, unplug, open the cover (see Controller
replacement [
→
Page68]) and examine the power head.
3. Verify the optical sensor is in place with wires connected to the circuit
board.
4. Enter master programming mode.
5. Verify that the valve type and system type are set correctly with regard to
the unit itself.
6. Step the unit to a manual regeneration.
7. Verify that it functions correctly.
8. If the error reoccurs, unplug the unit.
9. Put it into bypass.
10. Contact dealer.
10.2.3 Regeneration failure

The system has not regenerated for more than 30days.
1. Perform a manual regeneration to reset the error code.
2. If the system is metered, verify that it is measuring flow by running
service water and watching for the flow indicator on the display.
3. If the unit doesn’t measure flow, verify that the meter is working properly
and that the cable is well connected.
4. Enter master programming mode.
5. Verify that the unit is configured properly.
6. Check that meter is identified correctly.
