3.3.20 STATUS | SAFETY LIMITER WINDOW (Raychem NGC-20 ONLY)
The Status|Safety Limiter window displays the current Safety Limiter’s temperature and a
historical record of minimum and maximum values recorded since the last Reset time. Data in this
status window is “read only” information. Pressing reset releases all min./max. values and starts
another period of accumulation for minimum and maximum values.

The Status|Safety Limiter window provides the following controls:
• Safety Limiter Temp Field - Displays the last reported temperature from the Safety Limiter’s RTD
• Safety Limiter Setpoint Field - The temperature that the Raychem NGC-20 is using for the
Safety Limiter alarm
• Reset Safety Limiter Action Button - In normal state, the Reset Safety Limiter button in
grayed out. If a latching alarm occurs, the Reset Safety Limiter button blinks orange/red.
The alarm cannot be reset until the Safety Limiter’s temperature is below the Safety Limiter’s
Setpoint.
• Safety Limiter Min Temp - The lowest temperature reported by the Safety Limiter’s RTD
since the last reset time
• Safety Limiter Max Temp - The highest temperature reported by the Safety Limiter’s RTD
since the last reset time
