APPENDIX B. NGCUIT2 BACKUP PROCESS
With a USB drive, you can back up the current configuration of a UIT2. All of the configuration
settings will be saved in an XML format so that it is easily read and edited on a computer. This
includes the following:
– Circuit Database
• The currently configured circuits on the UIT2.
– Events Database
• The last 2000 events that have occurred.
– Network List
• All of the devices that appear in the Network|Device screen.
– Preferences
• The user preferences, which include parameters such as Temperature Units, Language and
Screen Timeout.
Step 1
– Insert a USB drive into the UIT2 and wait for the USB Service Panel to appear on the screen.
