Cleaning the Platen Roller
Dirt and debris on the platen roller can make the roller feed
paper into the printer at an angle, degrade the quality of
the printed image, or both.
1 Open the release cover. See Figure 19.
2 Clean the platen roller with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth
to gently remove any dirt or debris on the roller.
