Clean the hook and the hook compartment............................................................ daily

13.01 Cleaning
Turn the machine off!
● Lay the machine head on its back.
● Clean the hook and the hook compartment daily, more often when in continuous
operation.
● Return the machine head to its upright position with both hands.
Danger of crushing between machine head and table top!
13.02 Lubricating
Turn the machine off!
Only use oil with a mean
viscosity of 10.0 mm

/s at
40°C and a density of 0.847 g/
cm

at 15°C.
We recommend PFAFF
sewing machine oil.
Part no. 280-1-120 105.
● Lay the machine head on its back.
● Fill the oil reservoir 2 up to the upper
marking 3 through the hole 1.
● Return the machine to its upright position with both hands.
Danger of crushing between machine head and table top!
With the machine working 8 hours a day, the oil reservoir is to be checked once a month
and refilled if necessary.
