Verifying the Network Connection
The LAN connection icon appears in the top left of the patient record table when the
monitor is connected to a LAN.
If the pane is empty, the monitor is not connected to a wired or wireless network.
The IP address currently assigned to the monitor appears in the
LAN IP Address field on
the General tab in the System Menu. If the LAN IP Address field is 0.0.0.0, the monitor is
not connected to a wired network.
If the monitor detects a LAN IP address and a WLAN IP address, the monitor first selects
LAN for network communication.
For information about resolving connectivity issues, see Chapter 6, “Troubleshooting”.
Note — The wired system must be tested prior to use.
