Troubleshooting
Use the information in this chapter to diagnose and correct common network problems.
If you follow the troubleshooting steps in this chapter and you still cannot resolve the
problem, call the Philips Customer Care Center.
Accessing the Network Test Menu
Use the Network Test menu to troubleshoot network issues. You can:
• Ping an access point (AP) or destination server
• Release and renew the monitor IP address
• Enable or disable the radio
• View information about the wireless connection
• Export the wireless status log
To access the Network Test menu:
Step
1 Select the System button in the toolbar to open the System Menu.
2 Select the Admin tab.
3 In the window that appears, enter the Administrator password, 2-1-5 (or
the password you configured) and select OK twice.
The Admin tab appears.
Caution
The Admin tab remains unlocked for 1 minute after you close it. This
allows you to open the menu again without having to re-enter the
password. Do not leave the monitor unattended during the unlock
time.
4 Select Diagnostics.
The Diagnostics Menu appears.
5 Select Network Test.
The Network Test menu appears.
