Configuring the Monitor’s IP Address
Note — The Monitor Name is used to register as the DNS hostname.
The default Monitor Name is the monitor’s serial number. It can be changed from both the
monitor display (select the monitor name at the bottom) or the General tab on the System
Menu
. After the monitor name is changed, it is used to register as hostname. If registration fails,
the monitor keeps the new name but the hostname is not identifiable in the network.
To configure IP address settings for the monitor:
4
Enter the IP address or the hostname (up to 50 characters) of the
destination server, and then select OK.
